“Critterwood Forest” was designed to transform the small pediatric unit of a local hospital into an environment of wonder and healing. The birthing center is nearby and whole families become involved in the 3D mural as they await new arrivals. The image above includes animals painted and formed by 8, 12 and 14 year olds. Many other areas of this mural include similar work by other students, as does each patient room.

HENDERSONVILLE COUNTY COURTHOUSE & PUBLIC LIBRARY |
In 1993, before ground was broken for the new County Courthouse, I approached the County Manager about a "one percent for art" program. By the completion in 1995, the building was filled with art including five of my paintings in which I used images from the historic Baker/Barber Collection. There are two additional paintings in the County Library.
